May 9th - Mother's Day

We will be open Saturday May 8th from 10am-5pm for all of your Mother's Day gift needs. From Pandora beads starting at just $25 to stylish Lorenzo Sterling Silver and 18K gold colored stone pieces for just a few hundred dollars to Hearts on Fire diamond stud earrings for $10,000 we have you covered.

Mother's Day Design Contest:

We held our 1st Annual Mother's Day Jewelry Design Contest.  Racine area 4th and 5th classes were asked to design a pin or pendant that celebrates their mothers and Mother's Day. Several schools chose to participate.  A panel of judges took the designs that were submitted and chose 3 winners. We took their winning designs and created sterling silver pendants that they presented to their mothers.

May 29 - May 31st  -  Memorial Day Weekend
We will be closed the entire Memorial Day Weekend.  We will re-open Tuesday, June 1st with our normal hours of Monday - Friday 10am-7pm and Saturday 10am-5pm.

June 26th - July 2nd  - Gold Buying Event
Gold is back up to record high prices again. Now is a great time to get rid of those old broken chains, mismatched earrings, and the pieces that just sit in your jewelry box collecting dust!  When shopping around to find the best place to sell your old gold, be careful. We have found the independent locations pay a good deal more than the places on TV and the fly-by-night gold buyers that set up shop in the malls and hotels.  The latest craze to be careful of are the "home gold buying parties."  Be careful not to unknowingly take advantage of your friends!  The cut that you get as a host comes out of what they could get for their gold elsewhere!  Don't be afraid to shop around. Don't expect them to all pay the same!  Don't be fooled by people who claim to "pay the most" for your gold.  Each store is most likely working with a different refiner and the rates they get will vary from place to place.  Lastly, remember the price of gold per ounce is for pure 24K gold. If your ring is 14K gold, that means only 58.3% of the weight of that piece is actually pure gold.  There are expenses to refining and recasting your old gold into new gold.  Do not expect to get the full price of pure gold for your old pieces.

In recognition of Independence Day, we will be closed Friday, July 3rd through Monday July 5th.  We will re-open Tuesday July 6th with normal business hours of 10am-7pm.
