Welcome to The Gem Guys Education Center!

Your instructors will be Bill Sustachek and Joel Hassler. Bill and his wife Kathy own Rasmussen Diamonds, and Joel Hassler is the store’s General Manager. Bill and Joel are Graduate Gemologists, Certified Gemologist Appraisers, and Certified Insurance Appraisers. We will regularly post bits of information on all kinds of topics in the Gemology and Jewelry World. From manufacturing and mining, to myth and lore of gemstones, here’s where you’ll find it!
