Fashion trends are constantly changing, and it can feel overwhelming trying to switch things up every season. Fortunately, most trends are simply recycled looks from years past. This means that you likely have a handful of pieces hiding in your closet already!

With the holidays coming up, looking and feeling your best is an important piece of the magic. If you're feeling stumped on what looks to curate, I've gathered this season's most popular trends along with staple jewelry pieces to compliment them. Keep scrolling for some holiday style inspiration!

1. Animal print: This bold style has made its way around the fashion world many times and reigns supreme this fall/winter. Whether you choose a silk leopard-print skirt or opt for a snake-skin bag, you're guaranteed to look on trend.

A popular jewelry trend that's making its way on the runways are large bangle bracelets. Consider pairing a few of these big, bold bracelets with your favorite animal print to achieve a funky and fun look.

2. Longline Coats: A coat is a great way to pull your entire look together by offering a layered and dynamic look. Luckily, it's also necessary to keep warm this time of year!

A black or camel colored coat is a great wardrobe staple. Try balancing these long silhouettes with a chunky gold chain. Bringing the eye back up to the neckline offers appealing symmetry.

3. Denim on Denim: Also known as "double denim," this trend is everywhere right now.

Mix and match your denim shades on the top and bottom for an edgy look. I would pair this trend with mixed metal jewelry to add dimension and play on your edgy, cool vibe.

4. Faux Fur: Fur coats are a great statement piece to consider adding to your wardrobe. Not only will they keep you ridiculously warm, but they will also demand attention!

A jewelry option to pair with this look are the classic pearls. Accessorizing your fur coat with a chunky pearl strand, large pearl earrings, or a statement pearl ring will definitely give you that "old money" look that's also really popular right now.

5. Oversized Blazers / Wide-Leg Trousers: Whether you decide to pair the two together or wear them separately, this corporate chic trend offers many ways to tailor this trend into your own personal look.

I would offset the oversized look with delicate pieces of jewelry, like dainty gold necklaces layered together. Allow the outfit to shine with subtle hints of jewelry to add some balance to the look.

Don't feel pressured to run out and buy all of the newest trends. Odds are they will sit in your closet much longer than you intend on wearing them! This is just a simple list to help guide you this season if you feel like you've been feeling uninspired or if you have a holiday party coming up. Have fun this season and remember that trends come and go.

Taking these trends into consideration can help guide you to find your own personal look that never goes out of style!
